Jon Spenser Eiseman was born in Brooklyn, New York. He was raised in North Carolina. He has been known as a folk artist, self-taught, a southern visionary and some have dubbed him A Palm Beach folk artist. He began his peculiar vision early and by age 12 was showing professionally. His work is in collections all over
the world.

Eiseman, now 40, has been in over 50 shows and two were sold out in Atlanta, Georgia. He recently exhibited at Green St. Gallery, NYC and the A.E. (Bean) Backus Museum in Florida. His work is included in many corporate collections and the following institutions:

       The High Museum of Art
       The Birmingham Museum
       State of Israel
       Greensboro University
       The Tannebaum Collection at University of N.C., Raleigh
       Coca-Cola Corporate Collection
       Nynex Corporate Collection
       Tucker Wayne Collection/ Jefferson Pilot Corp.

He currently works in oil, wax, crayon, and watercolor, embracing the beauty
and variety in portraiture.
